Berba

I cant believe this lazy Bulgarian scored 5 goals and he could score even more.... unbelievable really as he is a top goalscorer and from 50 to 1 he is now 5 to 1...what a turn around indeed. he is very gifted player no question about it but he will never finish as top goals scorer.... so I am laying him of and will back him again in 5-6 weeks...watch that space.I am Man Utd fun by the way and love watching him but business is business....

It has been a while since the last time but there is not much to write about. I had a very bad period in trading so it has been miserable indeed recently.

Opportunities

Been very busy in the last few days. Unexpectedly I received an offer for an investment, so I was very surprised least to say! The idea is to eventually work just part time or quit the job at all - something not very luckily any time soon.

Lucky error

Mondays are design one to feel bad and to start wish Friday to come quicker. I generally don't feel comfortable waking up very early and from there on I look miserable the rest of the day. But comes Friday eve and I am happy chappy at least for the rest two days.

Today I made 6 trades which resulted in just over 12% back on my stake or £106. I was 'lucky' enough to miss trade the last trade and traded on the opposite site. It was on the Porto game I was trading on unders then when I saw my mistake and watched the game develops I decided to leave the position open and was praying for a goal to come soon. It came soon enough and I traded out for an unexpected big profit. Actually I tried to cut my losses but I was not matched and made a lucky escape after the goal.

Because

I have made 20 trades today with 18 in the green and 2 in the red which resulted in just above 14% on my stake or £110. I was over cautious today but still I could not see the own goal which happened in a Dutch game. I had to act and cut my loses, despite of that horror error I could have a brill day and almost 50% more profit but a green day is a green day never the less.

I have seen couple of guys in the blog space trying to predict games from the start using the same stake so I may consider to have a look into it,just need to do some more research on it.

Man City needs a world class defender to go to the next level.

Saturday, October 23, 2010

I have made 23 trades today, as usual as there were plenty of games to choose from. Made just above 16% back on my stake or £106 which I am happy with. I was very conservative in my approach as Mr Buffet's word are echoing in my ears all the time. From 4 trades made nothing but better safe than sorry. I am still very much in the red for this month ( 1274 )

Life is such a flower which needs to be watered constantly. My father is in hospital with a heart problem from yesterday, hope he gets better soon. Funny enough I had some problems with my left side, my heart seems to be hearting from yesterday and did not really play squash today because of that.Live today because there may not be tomorrow, saying that what do I mean live? We all live in our own ways and try to get the best of it as we can. God bless.

Roo

So Mr money grab disloyal Rooney achieved what he wanted - more cash but there you go if there are enough crazy people to give him such crazy amounts they should be ashamed as well. I bet now all the fans will turn up on his back as he is not performing at all this season.Today football is becoming uncontrollable and very soon there will be more and more clubs collapsing as this is not a real business and the rich owners involved in this sport will realize this is a black hole.

I made only 3 trades today as there were not much opportunities anywhere and I keep reminding myself Mr Buffet's quote never 'lose you money'. Around 2,5% on my stake in the green or £16.

Crazy Copa Sudamericana

I took a half day off today as an engineer was coming to install my satellite dish...Not! He said he never done such a big dish as my one is around 80cm and he recommended another engineer who din not know either! I could not believe that, never mind now I am waiting an answer from 3 different companies to see are they going to install my dish.

There were not many games today, so I made 5 trades in total, as the last one was mad. the first three trades were in good spirit and I was thinking to head for the bed. However I made a last one on the copa Sudamericana game where I made 4% green on my stake alone on this trade, then became greedy and was severely punished. Then I put all my remaining balance on overs and got lucky but trading wise I am a crab trader recently and only Lady luck has saved me as she has been on my shoulder quite a few times. After my greedy trade where I lost 34% of my stake, the professional thing had to be to stop trading and call it a night, but no I am not professional at all. I am not able to accept a loss and start chasing like a true looser. That way of doing things will finish in disaster very soon.

Anyway I made just above 73% on my stake or £268 but I am kidding myself big time.

Blue

I have made 4 trades tonight which resulted in just above 6% back on my stake or £20. My laptop is playing and is crying for a new one....there is one more trade to add so the total for tonight is 7,50% on my stake or £25. It is very hard to trade without the proper equipment, hopefully tomorrow I will have installed a satellite dish so i can watch more live games.

Value=Maurinio

I love Jose for his brilliance and aggressive self believe. Everywhere he goes he seems to bring success and togetherness and loyalty.I used to back him all the time when he was at Chelsea and he is usually predictable for trading too.

Rooney( or more rightly his agent) is not right to leave as in today's crazy football market there will be enough opportunities to cash up.  We need just to look back and remember that whoever left Man Utd has not excelled. It was only a few months ago when he was saying that  he will stay at Man Utd for life. Not impressed but there you go...... hope Man City sign him to see the abuse he will get for life from all British supporters. Not intelligent boy...not at all.

Tonight there were 3 trades only which brought back just above 5% on my stake or £17. I was so itching to trade but keep reminding myself the Buffet principle to never lose your money/stake.

Never lose money

I am reading a book about Warren Buffet - the most successful investor in history in my opinion. I loved the book and the one thing which really stuck in my mind as I finished the book was what Buffet said in the end to make sure to 'Never lose money'. I kind of translate this to my way of trading which is spot on! When trading make sure you do not lose your stake, and as more I think about it the more incredible seems to me not to be able to stick to this rule. When I enter a trade I make sure to win something even a small amount and sometimes I get involved in such a ridiculous trades and feel very frustrated after I do not win anything. And there it is, I realise something now which I have known for many years but never had the power to stick to.

Tonight I made 5 trades which resulted in just above 8% green on my stake or £24. There were all right trades and I wish for more days like this one.

Crazy weekend

I had a crazy weekend, for a start on a Friday I made an error and ended up with a bad start but ended the day with a small profit. Then came Saturday which started very good, was around 25% profit on my stake when a bad trade wiped out most of my stake.Went for the big bang on Barca game which I should not do but recovered some of my loses and ended the day with around 20% loss on my stake. Felt really bad as I made more than 20 trades and had nothing to shop up for it. Anyway Sunday started positively but again a greedy trade ended badly...so frustrating as I could avoided it but was waiting for more green....there you go I went for the kill in Lion game for overs and luckily recovered with a tiny green. So for the last three days I ended with up with around £50 profit but was lucky and feel not positive for my future trading.

Money

Only 2 trades today which resulted in just above 9% on my stake or around £12.I am confused right now as I am running on a big loss this month which wiped out all my profits from the last two months.I will carry on and hope to see some good days ahead. There will be no trading tomorrow as there are not many games.

I was watching the Apprentice this evening and have to say this girls look hot if not anything else :)

No Joy!

Today I did trade only two games as I had a game of squash. I lost my stake in the second one, well it happens, recently I make one step forward and two steps backwards.I was very angry indeed with the loss but nothing I could do about it. I went out and went food shopping and when I thought about it I did everything as I should do. The most important thing was that I did not chase, just accept i.tDays like this will appear I just need to follow my strategy and keep cool.Loss for the day £153.I have a nightmare month and tomorrow is 13th my 'favourite' number...not!

Planets

First day at work after the weekend and guess what, I did not enjoy it at all.I have made 5 trades which resulted with just over 10% on my stake or £16. Still running in big red for this month -£1659.Tomorrow I have a squash game and will miss most of the games, but hope to catch up with some late games.

Sunday, October 10, 2010

Weekends

Today I have made 7 trades as there was not much action on the footy front. Made a profit from them about £20 and my total loss for the month is currently just above £1,700 which I will not cover by the end of the year if all goes well. Now I devoted to withdrawal every day if I have made a profit.

As I mention before the last week was manic. Almost everything I touched when in the red and my mistake was that I chased my losses thats why I ended where I am now. And I should know better! Then another error which I made is not withdrawing on a regular basis.

Downturn

I had a few very bad days which almost wiped me out. It is a kind of a curse when I start a challenge and all goes into tatters. So the challenge £3,000 is over and now I will try to recoup my losses for this month, so will be glad to recoup some of them if any at all. The last two months were so good which made me dream a bit too much so now I am back to reality again :( and no more stupid challenges in future for me.

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Challenge £3,000 - Day 3

Today I have made 14 trades which brought back just over 42% back on my stake or £245 - one of my best days for a very long time. I am still minus 9% of my crazy target of £3,000 for this month!

On trade number 13 the internet connection miraculously broke down I was not able to return to action in the next 10 minutes which drove me absolutely mad. Yes it is my own fault that I am still not technically prepared to such situations as they will occur now and again, however my point is that I hate number 13 with passion. It defo brings me bad luck. As I mentioned, yesterday I had a feeling something bad will happen and that was due to the fact that I kept seeing number 13 everywhere. And I was right, the bad thing happened. Today how on earth to explain that my connection broke down exactly on trade number 13!!! Yes I was lucky enough to escape a serious damage (in fact I won) but I shortened my life with a couple of months due to this number which I hate so much!Maybe I go mad but I still hate that number.

Sundays

Today I woke up with the determination to trade after yesterdays horrors show.I went for breakfast in the morning to a friends house and because of that did not trade the first games in the morning.I have been very busy recently because I work during the week and after that I tend to trade in the evenings and weekends which leaves me with no spare time at all.I love trading so I am not complaining, however I am dreading to go to work my normal job tomorrow as simply it does not give me the same pleasure.

I felt very calm yesterday after the big loss which I made (over £600) which got me thinking that this is unusual for me. Probably it is because I have believe in myself and I am able to control my actions more.I am still very chaotic and the target which I set to myself for this month seems ridiculous now.If I trade every day I will have to do £97 a day to be able to reach such a target, saying that I am in the red so it will be even more difficult. But there you go I love to challenge myself!

Saturday, October 2, 2010

I had a feeling!

Today I had a feeling that something bad will happen while I am trading...and it did. With one of my first trades and i was in the red. I stayed calm and around evening time I was in the green which made me very happy. And then the final hour came where I lost my entire stake due to stupidity. I lost a chunk of it firstly and then started chasing....why? The annoying part is that I knew I do the wrong thing and despite that I went ahead and lost and the rest of my stake! It happens so often when I start a challenge and all ends in tatters. So day 2 and I am already minus 17% of the £3,000 aim. I will try at least to finish the month in the green.

Pretty women

What is all about pretty women? We (men) all go mad about them and do so silly things just to get their attention ( me for sure). I just cant handle women at all, and the prettier is the woman the more difficult is to handle her! Crazy stuff....anyway
On the trading front I made 6 trades which resulted in around £89 in the green. I would do some experiment this month to see can I reach the £3,000 mark. I will not chase it at all, just want to see how it will go and what percentage if any I would manage to do.I will use stakes between 100 and 500 depends what I can afford. So today on the first day I am currently 3% into my aim, so 97% more with 30 days to go!

Memories

Made a few trades which ended with just above 4,5% on my stake. There were not many games this week and all Uefa games starts at the same time which is not great for trading.Old habits never die at least in my case - where I got involved in a trade where I knew I should not! Although the trade ended up in profit in the long term the history shows me that all will end in tatters-I just hope I make a note of that. Man City ended with not many goals as predicted which is not a big surprise when two Italian coaches are on the bench!

Worlds

Tonight I have managed to trade a few games, made around 6% back on my stake. It will be quite a long way until I set up the satellite TV at home so until then my trading will not be that much. It is frustrating that Sky TV charges so much and shows so little but there you go there are the monopolist and have very little competition.

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Quiet Day

There is no trading today due to the fact that I cant find a live feed for any of the games tonight. I am actually proud that I am able to control myself more nowadays and not to rush in games where I know I will have no edge.

Monday, September 27, 2010

Weekend

I had a busy few days as we are looking for a new car for my brother who recently passed his driving exam. On the trading front I made around 21% back on my stake. Sunday was a shock day to the system as my first trade for the day saw me 15% down on my stake so it was a hard day in the office but I finally managed to finish the day on the green side. Keeping your emotion under control is a key to any trading!

Trading

As usual today was busy trading day as there were so many games to choose from. Went out in the morning to see a friend and came back around lunch time. Made more than 10 trades and have made around 15% back on my stake. I have no live coverage for most of the games as do not have any TV yet at home. Hope next month some time to be able to get a TV and a satellite dish. As expected Man City game was with very few goals and due to no live coverage was not able to trade it. Tomorrow will be busy day as well as need to go to join the gym again and we have pancake breakfast in the morning.

Moving in

Today was my first day back at work. What can I say? I was glad to be back though but did not fancy doing any work so the day passed away very slowly indeed. The weather amazingly is very good for this time of the year. I made a few trades and ended up with a few greens so no complains here. Had a little scare moments in the last trade as I went chasing but there you go, bad habits never dye! Need to updated my figures as have not done it for ages. Tomorrow i am going out in the morning so hope to catch some games in the afternoon.

Back to where I belong

I have been on a long holiday and now I am back and my internet is working too :))) hope and pray all to go well.

Bad IP address??!!!

No trades today as not able to access the exchanges-so frustrating!!! Apparently I was told that I have a bad IP address and I have no ta clue how to deal with that, waiting now tomorrow to speak to an engineer. Crazy indeed!

Do not remember that one happening to me but there you go, so I can only wish good luck to myself tomorrow!

Indian Summer

It was a bank holiday today so I got the opportunity to catch up and slept almost until lunch time. Actually I could sleep much more but the sunshine came into my eyes, yes this month has been amazing weather wise, almost everyday as been worm, without rain and pretty sun-shining!

On the trading front I made 9 trades, 1 in the red and 8 in the green, with more than 9,5% green on my stake. Early in the evening my internet connection broke down and I had an open trades so had to cancel them trough the phone-pretty scary moment indeed!

Trading lines

I have a headache today from trading! I thought that will never happen as I enjoy it enormously especially when I am winning, but yes the day came when that happened. I made 24 trades today-that must be the biggest number of trades since I started the new approach.22 of them were in the green with two in the red which brings just over 22% green on my stake. I feel really exhausted though, 5-10 trades are ok but more than that and Ican feel my old age! Today a friend of mine donated a picture for my home office- a nude lady looking trough a window in black and white, really artistic I must assure you of that!

Today is the 37th trading day since I started my new approach. The results up to now are encouraging. I try really hard to follow it and not to go out of line - as today again I was 100% there will be a goal in the Liverpool game at some point after the 20th minute. Yes there was a goal but there will be times when there will not be so I am actually proud and happy to be able to stick to my new approach. The average trade brings back 1,29% on my stake. At the moment I do not have a stable stake but hope in a month time to be able to have one. Still very early days though as I had many times very good starts to 'new approaches' and they all finished in a disaster.

Saturday, August 28, 2010

Dont like errors!

Today made 16 trades, with 15 in the green and one (the last one) in the red. It is so annoying when I do something stupid, like the last trade where I was in the green and did not concentrate enough and went into the red, errrrrrr. I hate mistakes done from stupidity, and I get really frustrated, so went on to chase the loss but then cooled down and stopped as things like this will be happening now and again and I just will need to accept it. The second trade in the day was quite unique and frustrating too as for more than 15 min I could not trade out due to liquidity issues. The positive note is that I made just above 20% on my stake which is pleasing. Was away in the morning for my weekend squash game and then was away in the evening as well.

So Ibra went back to Italy and now is with Milan, good move for both sides as he did not show his great potentials in Spain.

Friday, August 27, 2010

Today

I was out tonight and managed to do just two trades. Made 2,60% on my stake and looking forward to tomorrow's trading.

Went out for a meal with some friends and had a few drinks. When I got back home I was itching to trade but there were not much, so I got involved in a trade where I should not go really with my new strategy of trading. That was naughty, so I will have to avoid this kind of trades in the future.

The Den

Recently I have moved to a new flat because the old house where I used to live was sold out. Now in the new one I have a dedicated room which I called "my office" or the mob's den as my colleagues at work call it. I always dreamt to have an office where I can trade freely without disturbing anyone. The unique point at my office is that it has a sea view and I love staring at the sea for no reason.I am still in a process of creating it, so far I got a few chairs an old table and my old laptop. The idea is to create a proper trading office with TV screen connected to a satellite where I can watch live most football games which I trade. That is a big issue now for me as Sky for example does not offer many live games and all internet feeds are late with 30 seconds at least. I generally love watching football so will try to find something suitable which can provide live football games.

Today made 11 trades and made just above 9% on my stake, 10 of the trades were green and one went into the red where I had to cut my losses and run, but trades like this will happen now and again. I was happy as I had no control over it and reacted accordingly so i could save my stake from a disaster.

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

Mandarin

Today made 8 trades which is quite surprising given there were not that many games. The result is all of them ended up green with more than 17% back on my stake. Very satisfactory evening with Barca-Milan claiming the biggest portion of the green today.

I was trying to buy addidas trainers for my father all evening and could not find anything good and reasonable so tomorrow morning need to continue my pursuit in addidas hunting.

Tottenham unsurprisingly won my more than two goals, I was expecting nothing less but as i am sticking to my new philosophy I avoided the trade.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Temptetation

Traded only two games today and made just above 3% on my stake. I was tempted big time to place a bed on the Real Madrid game to score after half time but voted to stay away as promised to my self not to get involved any more in that kind of betting. I was very sure that they will score a goal at the second half and was so much itching to do it but need to stay focused and continue my strategy which looks promising al least for now. From 32 trading days I was just 3 days in the red, and my average daily green is just above 9% on my stake which I am very happy with.

Naughty Discipline

First day of the week and back to my main work after two hectic days trading the exchanges. It was kind of boring in the office as I was creaming up to go back and start trading at home. I made 9 trades today and the first one was a horror show in its full calibre! I should not go at all at this one, I knew I should not and just could not resist. It is very hard for me when all is going well to resist some crazy trades. Do not know how to deal it that as I know it is not right and still doing it?!

Anyway I accepted a loss which was around 15% of my stake and took it on the chin. So 8 trades were in the green with one in the red. The thing is when I do something stupid like that I try to chase and from then on everything goes in the wrong direction. Still miles away of looking into it professionally. Made just above 11% on my stake and I am pretty happy with it.

I knew Liverpool will be crab, it is my personal opinion that Roy Hodgson is not a big game manager, he can do fantastically well in an average team but in a big team he is not up for it. Time will show of course, but with him and with so many teams competing for the top 4 spot I can see Liverpool overdoing Cheasea, Man Utd and Man City and Arsenal.

Pretty Lady

It was a delightful day today, the weather was awesome for a change and I went for a walk in the morning with a friend. When it is sunshine over here it feels like a paradise, however that does not happen very often for sure.

I came back just after lunch time and started trading stright away. After the last two days when trading was horrific at times, today everything went smoothly - not to believe indeed! Even the connection went down only once and I was not trading at this point - luckily! This becomes to be a huge problem - I have no backup when my connection goes ashtray, and this has costed me a few times. No really have an idea what to do right now, will do a research in the next couple of days. Made 17 trades -all of them green, with just above 31% in the green on my stake. I kind of trying to take it easy because most of the times I get too well ahead of myself and stuff.

iphone for exchange trading

Anyone using iphone as a backup on the exchanges -betfair/betdaq? I wondering as I am exploring my options for a backup as my internet connections lets me down now and again.
Any comments will be much appreciated.

Tough Lady

After yesterdays horrific stuff today the same story continued in true manner. I missed the first half of the games as was away and started my trading in the afternoon. The first few games went well and I really wanted to make a good start to compensate for yesterdays troubles ( this is wrong thinking by the way as it shows I am still chasing losses-not professional!) all went smoothly until my Internet connection slowed down and I tried to restart to see how is going to be. Then went to make a cup of tea and worked it out that I would be back for the next trade as I had 7 min to spare. To my horror when I came back the game was already started and from then on everything went ashtray the whole afternoon. So it is a time to use my watch and place it on my hand and not leaving it on the table! What a horror! I was so angry with myself to do such a childish error, and of course a goal was scored just when I came back and wanted to trade!!! So all in all I made 15 trades with 14 in the green and one in the red, however I feel so lucky and now I am exhausted. Made just above 24% on my stake but could be much worse so at the end to finish with such a great result is truly lucky indeed.

Friday, August 20, 2010

Thunderous Friday

Started the day on the red side, my first trade was a bad one and continued that way all evening. The Bayern M game almost killed me, still learning from my mistakes. So made 6 trades today and lost more than 31% of my stake, with 2 negative and 4 positive trades. Days like this will occur now and again. Tomorrow will miss some of the games as need to help a friend. There should be plenty of action though in the afternoon.

Glorious madness

What a day today! Wanted to finish work as quick as possible and to come back to start trading. Of course when trading is going well I enjoy it immensely, but that is natural feeling i suppose. It was fast and furious at times, breathtaking! Some of the trades were crazy and stupid and some were a gold mine. All in all I made 15 trades with 2 negative and 12 green ones and one neutral. When i am evaluating my trades now I should have acted more fast on my losses and there seems a long way to go until I perfect my trading to the standards required. I hate losses as everyone else does, it is psychological with me I suppose. Made just above 28% back on my stake which by all means is a smashing achievement by my standards.

Meanwhile Mudflaps from Betting for a living bloq is quitting for good. I really was enjoying his short and informative blog. But there you go i wish him all the success in the world.

Emotions

Today made 6 trades and made just above 12% on my stake. So far so good, I am able to control my emotions and not go out of line with some crazy bets. Sometimes looks too easy to be true so lets see how long it will last. I suppose I should put a target and see can I achieve it. But for now I will just continue as it comes.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Temptetion

Made 5 trades today and that resulted in just above 12% back on the stake. I am averaging now more than 10% back on the stake daily which is pretty awesome if it keeps rolling that way. It was very tough though to resist old habits however I managed to stay away somehow for which I am very happy, although I had the intuition that I will be right. For example as soon as the Swiss team scored against Tottenham I knew that they will be another goal, the odds were around 1,08 which will give you 8% back on your stake. However in the long term that has been a loosing strategy for me as I did not learn successfully to withdrawal funds before I lost all the stake. It could be a very profitable system as long as you know/have limit when to withdrawal some money out.

Monday, August 16, 2010

Rain

Today was one of the hottest days over here, so hot had never been at the office I think - and now is raining like crazy!. Made 5 trades today which brought back above 10% on the stake. Berbatov made a great start to the season so lets hope he shows his full potential this season as now he retired from the nacional team he should be more fresh.

Sunday, August 15, 2010

Wondering

Today was a busy day, made 16 trades with 15 in the green and one in the red, so total just above 23% back on the stake. There were some crazy moves and i went out of the line with some trades. When everything goes your way is very hard to resist some stupid trades which you know you should not touch at all. So in all this weekend started badly and finished pretty good indeed.

Saturday, August 14, 2010

Bad day turned to good its still bad for your health!

What a day today! Had to get up early to go to help a friend with moving stuff from his house. Got absolutely smashed as was running up and down like crazy till lunch time, so missed the early games. Came back for the second half of the Tot -Man City game. Made 13 trades today, with three negative and 10 green trades, coming back with just above 35% in profit on my stake. The wonderful company which I will not mention the name but we all know who is it made the usual cock up today. So in a way today was my 13th Friday which finished very lucky indeed. So the cock ups from the wonderful company should be accumulated in future forecast as they are inevitable!

Friday, August 13, 2010

Friday

Today was 13th Friday and I was daring to trade at all. I did trade though and made 6 trades which resulted with around7,46% back on my stake but I was over cautious and I am happy just to not finish the day with a loss so any green is a good one on a days like that. Very busy at work as usual and tomorrow will be a busy day as need to do some work in the garden then trading if/when time allows.

Thursday, August 12, 2010

Cruise

Today there were not many games at all, made only three trades which resulted in just above 13% back on my stake, quality than quantity as someone clever one must said. It becomes very exciting to trade recently so lets see how it goes. The weather here becomes better by the day, so looking forward for some more sunny days. It seems like Man City are keep spending outrageous amount of money on players, watch out that space!

Pretty woman

I had 7 trades today and all of them were in the green, had one scare on the Sweden game but all went well. It is so busy at work at the moment so it is not possible to trade all available games but there you go for you when working and trying to trade as well. Made just above 18% on my stake with average 2,53% on my stake so overall was a good day. Steve G saved the day for England but nothing to worry, England will be force again as long as they keep Don Fabio. That is what I think anyway.

Keep going gorgeous

Made around 17% back on my stake today which I am very happy with, made 5 trades with 4 of them positive. Cant wait for the full season to start everywhere in Europe so from now on weekends will be hectic with average of 15 trades on Saturday and Sundays and 4 on a week day, I am expecting around 50 trades per week with average 1,46% profit on my stake in which one.

Tough Times

It has been very tough recently with moving houses, working and trading. Have not gained much on the trading front, had some setbacks but overall I have gained around 12% on my stake. Really hope this season is the break trough for me personally will aim for £20 per day on average with minimal risk on my principal.
