Trading day 6

Just below 4% today with 3 trades which is good, I average just above 9% per day for now with six days trading.

Trading Day 5

Today traded 5 games and made around 7% back on my stake. I came back from work around 6 tonight and went straight on the first game. It is difficult to trade on games where you cant watch so look forward to the start of the season so I can have some live pictures.

Torres update

Just days after betting was suspended on Joe Cole joining Liverpool before a move was completed, bookmakers Paddy Power have closed the market on Fernando Torres’ proposed move to Chelsea. The Spanish striker’s reluctance to commit his future to Liverpool has also led to interest from would-be kings Manchester City. However, after a flurry of bets backing the player to move to London it appears that if he is to leave Anfield, it will be to join bitter rivals Chelsea.
“We re-opened the market on Fernando’s next club due to the speculation and interest from punters following comments from the City boss Roberto Mancini,” said Paddy Power spokesman Roberto Coladangelo.
“However, it became clear today that the punters now believe in the rumours linking the Spaniard to west London, forcing us to reassess the market.”
Radio station Talksport also revealed that they heard on good authority from two reliable sources that a move was imminent. (

I hope Torres does not join Chelsea, because the two American money sharks in Liverpool will just pocket the money.

Work

Only two trades today which brought back just a bit more than 5% on my stake. Thats good enough for me. Had a tough day at work and as I am moving house as well it is a busy as hell. Tomorrow they should be more games so anything more than 5 trades will be spectacular. It is not easy to work and then trade, so I think the perfect combination will be working in the office half a day and then coming back to trade for few hours at night. That will bring a right balance as staying at home can be a lonely business.

Minds

On Sunday I made more than 20% on my stake which is as good as it gets as I have not risked much at any point. Made 11 trades and all were on the plus side with average trade bringing 1,88% to my balance. It is a tough work though, nothing comes as easy as it sounds, I love doing it though which matters big time. On weekends there are plenty of games to trade however on week days there will be probably 2-3 games. At the moment Man Utd is 2-1 down to Kansas in a friendly with man extra, my old me surely was going to have a punt on a fourth goal at odds 1,17, as there were 45 min to go, however now we are in 80 min and there is still no goal. Of course they still can score but thanks I am happy I did vote to stick to my new discipline.

Man City

Man City to rule this season if they manages to sign Torres. They are romours about it and if they come true they can become very dangerous team indeed. Also if Robinio comes back they will be defo in the top 4, right now there are at 1,59 at the markets which I think will go down as soon as/if they sign Torres. Watch out that space. I personally do not think that Torres will change Liverpool for Man City but who knows, if he does I will have a small punt on them.

It was a tough day today as I traded lots of games, made around 15% back on my stake for the day without risking too much, there was a scare in one game but I took a loss and moved to the next game. When I think about it the average person in UK earns around £50 to £70 a day at work. Gets humiliated, stressed and most of the time wishes he/she is not there. If you put it in perspective if you trade with £1,000 stakes and manage to win 5% on average daily you pretty much will not need your daily job. However this is a dream for now because nothing seems that easy as it looks.

Random thoughts

Trading can improve soon, quality is better than quantity lets put it that way. How can people trade from home I have no idea, it can be so boring at times. there are so many blogs out there posting stories about how how is al done. The thing is we have to evolve as everything around us. Today I traded a few games and made just above 2% on my stake. Lets put that into perspective. Which bank/business can provide 2% back on your investment daily. The answer is very few indeed, however with my trading I try to risk my stake as little as possible if none. Thats the difficulty I have no answer yet. I am able to sustain pretty long terms of winning then boredom/unawareness/stupidity comes I and I can lose my stake three four times just like that. This is not acceptable.

There could be more positive news soon, Betdaq is not very good at all for trading on footy as there is no much liquidity. Why on earth they have so few games in play? Surely they will have to improve if they want people to trade with them. Anyone knows how to upload images now as google have changed theirs set up?

Not eazy times

It is crazy that there is no competition whatsoever on Betfair. No wonder that there are doing whatever they want!

Football won tonight

I will have to use betdaq from now on, but there you go-they do not offer many life games and it will be a struggle to trade. As much as I am frustrated I will have to accept it and make the best of it. Great that Spain won tonight although I did not favour them from the beginning.

Betfair - Monopolist

Right now it is 09 of July 2010...or is it? I was banned from Betfair for good which is very hard to accept but yes it is true. I had a very big argument with them as they made an error, kind of accept it and have done nothing to resolve it. I said words which I should not said, however banning me for good is pretty out off order. What did they do? They just banned me and unfortunately I cant do nothing about it. They have no appeal system in place and their decision is final. They are the biggest market place for sports trading and basically they do whatever they want, they act as a dictator. The sad thing is that we live in democracy and there are still dictatorships around.

I am lost for words, will go away now and will update later on.

Miroslav Klose

I was browsing around and have found an incredible good value at betfair backing Miroslav Klose to be top 4 goalscorer at the World cup. The odds are 1,32 currently. I simply cant see how Klose will not finish in the top 4 as there are only two games remaining.

Germany rules again....surprise Not!

What a game was that one....absolutely awesome for watching. I think I mentioned in one of my previous posts that the odds for Germany winning the competition are simply crazy...there were around 15 if I remember correctly. Now surprise surprise they are hot favourites. I was wrong about Spain though as I was not expecting them to reach the semi-finals, saying that they have not won the competition as yet so still time to go.
