Arsenal - Barca game tonight was a masterpiece. What a game! And Bendtner again missed a stinker of a chance to make it 1-1. I am hearing rumours that B Munich are offering up to £15 mil for him, hope that's not just a 1st of April joke! great comeback from the gunners so the hope is still alive for a double this season.... :)
Inter played awful first half then missed so many chances second half which could hurt them, but the Special One will do the job.
There are always so many chances in south American games it just worth watching them for entertainment.

The first sports fund, amazing it looks, how good it is...another story. I personally think that this looks too good to be true so probably it is! I would love to participate in something similar so the future will show.

Keep rolling to.....disaster

Traded just one game tonight B Munich - Man U, came back home when result was 0-1 already, was thinking to back overs 1,5 and was pretty annoyed to see Rooney the unstoppable opened his account. I watched the game for a bit and B Munich kept missing to score which prompted me to back overs 2,5 as I thought they will be more goals. No more goals were scored in the first half, so I thought in the second B Munich will have a go...not! It was so boring the second half so I gave up chasing that one and I was ready to take a loss. Then a lady luck came in to equalize and Man U defence were thinking about the next game when Olic persistence paid off.

I almost covered the loss on this challenge but still not comfortable withdrawing and I feel I have not learned anything. Why not cashing in and keeping down to my strategy? No idea why, not able to answer this question and eventually I will lose the plot. It is all in the mind and I feel hopeless. I am gambling/trading for such a long time and I am coming to realise that I will never win the war. I know I am doing wrong and I keep doing it?! Thats life i suppose for me right now....

Tevez saves the day

There you go today i reached my target so I will be withdrawing for first time. Man City frustrated me so much, they kept missing chance after chance and I was blasting them for being so hopeless in front of goal. I went in overs 2,5 from the start with 60% of my stake then decided to back with the rest while the game was playing. Man City were awful in the first minutes though they missed two glorious chances. After the half time the odds when to 12 before they scored the first goal which was very lucky indeed. Adebayor was nowhere near to be seen, Arsenal were so lucky to sell him and Teves what a masterpiece he is....Should I withdrawal and follow up my strategy or keep rolling? I think I will pass on the brazil game tonight and will see how tomorrow games.
Update.....I actually could not hold it and went in on overs 2,5 after the first goal and greened when they scored the second so going to bed. I know I am not able to follow any strategy and will regret it, but may change my mind tomorrow.

Dirty Hands

It has been interesting weekend. I am still losing however now I do not get upset as i have a strategy and a target and I am sticking up with it to see how it will go. Generally for me it is easier to trade overs. I am feeling much happier with my new trading psychology. Twice I was very close to reach my target and to be able to withdrawal but lady luck flew away from my shoulder. On paper seems and looks so easy but in real is so much more difficult as we all know......
On the positive front I do not touch Exchange games in BF any more as we all know there are fixed but somehow I used to believe it is a fair play and I do have an edge..not!

Introducing Challenge Overs

I am adding another Challenge to my portfolio - Challenge Overs. Target will be to treble my stake. I am trying to be discipline and to trade a few games where the right signals occur. I am curious to see what will happen when my losses comes, how I will react to them? Now I think I know what to do and what plan to follow. Lets see whats happen...

Challenge Overs Day 1

I am coming back to trading, hopefully smarter and more disciplined. I will diversify my portfolio, the first one is to be Challenge Overs - where I will mainly back over 1,5 goals,my target will be to triple my stake then I will withdrawal the profit (hopefully if there is any profit).

Day4 Challenge £10

2 loses and 5 wins today for a total profit of £1,55. The positive thing with this challenge is that i do not get upset when I lose because I have a plan and look long term. Hope I keep my calm. Good luck to all.

Testing Challenge £10 stake

I have started a challenge where I use just £2 per trade the most and try to trade just a few games per day. The idea is to trade with 5% of the stake at any one point. Obviously because of the small stake in the beginning will be with more than 5% so let see how it goes.

Thoughts

I have not been trading actively in the last couple of weeks simply because of the most common issue along us gamblers/bettors/traders - losing my bank. I have been here so many times and I should know better and I certainly know better......simply I am not able to control my emotions. I was considering long and hard how to proceed further. I went through all of my errors made times and times again, and I learned one thing - a lesson has not been learned. Here are my top errors.

1.Chasing - this one is the worst. I hate losing even 50 pence and then I start chasing. Not always but often enough this one results in losing all the bank, sometimes re-loading and losing the bank again due to crazy bets.
2.Getting angry when the bet/trade does not go my way or when losing. Similar to the first one.
3.Over trading - trading all day, sometimes trading on more that 20 markets.
4.No clear strategy - there is actually one but when a bet is lost all goes in dust.
5.Betting with money I cant afford
6.Not withdrawing
7.Not doing enough or any research

So from now on I am establishing a bank of £100 and I will trade 5% of the bank at any one time. Good or bad I truly believe now that having any strategy is better than none at all! So I need to make 20 or more trades until my bank is wiped out.

I will do research on the day before to establish on which games i will be happy to trade the next day. Any research will be better than none.

I will never chase, if I lose I will take it. I am after to win the war not the fight!

I will trade less.

I will withdraw when/if I double the stake.

So for now I will continue paper trading football. Today I layed Catania and after Inter scored I could greened out for a good return.

Champions League games

I go go overs 1,5 in both games Real M odds are 1,21 and Man Utd 1,28 if early goals are scored will trade out for green all over.
UPDATE: Have greened on both of them for £11 and £13 so 15% return on my stake is awesome!

This is still paper trading. With £100 stake from yesterday have already £176.

Arsenal - Porto

1,64 Arsenal to win, seems to good to be true.
3 min Arsenal are all over them, they will be only one winner here.
O no Mr Bentner is here, I am afraid now, he must be a secret agent playing against Arsenal.
6 min playing lovely footy for now, Bentner has not missed anything as yet!
Ou the first miss comes in the 7 min from Arshavin.....how more misses I wonder.....
9 min the odds dropped to 1,58.......and bentner scooooores :)
1-0 Arsenal odds 1,21 now still value I think
How on earth the odds can be 1,64 from the beginning.........something was wrong somewhere.
Now Bentner for a hat-trick, come on.....
I expect at least two more goals in this game, let see the odds-over 2,5 is 1,45 at the moment-great value, still when they each 1,6 I will get in! Porto will try to score now and Arsenal will murder them.
16 min still 1-0 Arsenal, phew Diaby misses from a corner but I admit was difficult.
Porto attacking now, so defo more goals in this game.
I went for a cup of tea and see Mr bentner scores again!!!
2-0 Arsenal my 1,6 on over 2,5 is not matched.....no probs still 1,64 for a win was crazy value....

Arsenal are shaky at the back again, so they need to score one more goal.
39 min even game now as Porto are getting more comfortable on the ball.
41 min I am greening for £52 all across the board as if Porto scores now it will be game on.

It is so easy to paper trading indeed. 52% winning on your stake is an amazing achievement in one game. I will be paper trading for a while now.
